I write to let you know that a robbery occurred early this morning in the area of Chapel and High Streets at approximately 1:30 AM. The victim, who is not a member of the Yale community, was approached by two males who assaulted him and robbed him of his wallet and cell phone. No injuries were reported and the New Haven police are investigating.
In an unrelated incident the New Haven police are also investigating a robbery that occurred in a private parking lot located at Park and George Streets Monday night at around 11:00 PM.
