To the Yale Community,
I write to let you know that a robbery occurred this evening in the area of Sheffield Avenue and Division Street at approximately 10:45 PM. The victim, who is not a member of the Yale community, was walking in the area when she was approached by a teenaged male who robbed the victim of her purse. No weapon was displayed and no physical injuries were reported. The New Haven police are investigating.
