To the Yale Community,

 

I write to let you know that a stabbing occurred this afternoon during an attempted robbery on Daggett Street between Congress and Washington Avenues at approximately 1:30 PM.  The victim, who is not a member of the Yale community, was approached by two individuals who attempted to rob him and then stabbed the victim during the incident. The New Haven police are investigating.
