To the Yale Community,

I write to let you know that a robbery occurred this afternoon in the area of Church and Wall Streets at approximately 4:05 PM. A graduate student was walking in the area when he was approached from behind by a man who simulated having a knife and robbed the victim of cash. No physical injuries were reported and the New Haven police are investigating.
